About Sefa

• Born and bred in West Auckland, New Zealand.
• Family first, always. 
• For 5 years, basketball was my passion, and it led me to some incredible places, including
• the United States, where I was fortunate to compete. Those years on the court taught me a lot about operating within a team.
• I learned that true success doesn’t come from individual achievement but from how well you play your role to uplift others

around you.

• The challenges I faced in basketball also helped me develop resilience and adaptability, skills I now bring into my career.
• My journey into recruitment happened by chance, but from day one, I knew I had found

my purpose. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about connecting with people and seeing them grow. Recruitment isn’t just about job placements; for me, it’s about understanding each individual’s unique strengths, story, and potential. I’m constantly inspired by the diverse experiences people bring, and I learn something new from every person I meet. I love seeing people grow, overcome their own barriers, and find roles where they can truly thrive.

Outside of work

• Family, I spend much of my free time with them.
• I enjoy staying active, whether running, working out in the gym, reading, or listening to a podcast.
• Simple pleasures; a game of pool, a good coffee, or a burger!
