The Employer

West Technology has been exclusively retained by an Australian manufacturing business that has operations in every state around Australia and currently employs over 2000 people. This business has grown extensively through acquisition as well as organic growth. The IT team plays a pivotal role in the success of the organisation and has some exciting projects in the pipeline for 2022 and beyond.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Application Manager and working closely with the Head of IT, the Application Developer will join the IT team to maintain and implement changes with current systems as well as develop and customise new systems for business wide use.

The key tasks aligned to this role include:
Analyse User requirements and plan work flow.
Undertake configuration, installation and testing of new software products (ERP)
Manage & prioritise system change requests using Jira.
Review existing systems and undertake improvements / enhancements.
Prepare management reports on progress as required.

The Successful Applicant
Has experience supporting new product development and ERP projects
Is skilled with .Net and database management & design
Comes with experience operating within popular project methodologies such as Agile, Kanban.
Whilst not essential, applicants with COBOL / Synergy DE or Dibol (DBL) experience will be highly regarded.
Is a proactive communicator who enjoys working in a team environment.
