The Company
West Technology are partnered with a well-established Cyber Security Consultancy based in North Sydney. Our client works with some of the most well-known brands in the market which will give you an opportunity to further grow your skills as an Application Security Professional.

The Opportunity
Our client is currently looking for 2 x experienced Application security specialists to join their team in North Sydney. This role will see you doing a range of Secure Code review work for a number of different clients across some very interesting projects.

Responsibilities
- Perform Secure Code Reviews
- Software composition of Apps (Web/ Mobile/ APIs)
- Providing guidance to developers & other key stakeholders
- Establish and report on metrics to gauge software security effectiveness
- Maintain awareness of the current security threat landscape

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Secure Code Review experience
- Automated & Manual Scanning tools such as Fortify, Checkmarx, WhiteSource etc
- Excellent understanding of Software Development
- Excellent communication both written & Verbal
- Ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of Security Principles
- Strong Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simulataneously
