About your new job

Reporting to the Management accounting manager, this role will provide commercial insight and financial expertise supporting the growth of development and strategy of this department of the NSW government.

Some of the key responsibilities assigned to this role include:
Analyse and report on business performance
Prepare business cases and financial models on business cases and projects as required
Partner with other Finance business partners through analytical support and provide recommendations
Provide advice and recommendations into the development of business systems and frameworks
Provide analysis and support of projects of priority
Extract, manipulate and collate data which is to be presented in a visual format
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting process

About You!

The successful candidate will closely resemble the following profile:
years experience in a management accounting, financial analysis or modelling role
Be CPA/CA Qualified
Must be an expert with MS Excel (Advanced level) and have experience with building and developing financial models and dashboards.
Have experience with BI and visualisations tools (Power BI/Tableau/ Qlikview)
Interpersonally, you are a highly motivated individual who can think autonomously and challenge the status quo. You display a passion for your work and thrive when dealing with stakeholders from various areas of the business.
