Your New Role

The Business Intelligence & Data Team Leader is a pivotal role within the BI function that will provide leadership and direction to the BI & Data team, which supports the organisation through data driven insights and analysis. Originally starting as a long term contract, this role has the potential to remain with the business beyond the 12 months and will perform the following tasks:
•Lead the data warehouse team, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
•Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouse systems.
•Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
•Develop and implement data warehouse strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate these into technical requirements.
•Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement necessary improvements.

The Successful Candidate:
•Is a highly organised Leader that understands how to effectively manage an Data / BI or Analytics team.
•Has ‘hands on’ experience performing the above listed task and understands ‘best practice’ in data warehousing, data modelling & analytics.
•Is technically proficient with SQL, ETL processes & Data warehouse technologies (Oracle / Wherescape Red / Ateryx etc).
•Enjoys partnering with business stakeholders at all levels to deliver insights that support them in meet their objectives.
