Your next role

Our client is looking for an ambitious Cloud Engineer passionate about delivering bold business ambitions on migrating into the Cloud. Joining their team will take you on a journey of personal and technical growth and provide the opportunity to inspire confidence and empower change.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will take responsibility for Managing Cloud infrastructure, including the Network and other compute resources. The Cloud Administrator plays a hands-on technical role as part of a high functioning team supporting the business and provides expert functional, technical support across multiple applications and technologies.

What you will do
Understand and document technical requirements of the projects
Support and participate in defining Migration strategy to move applications to the IaaS/PaaS
Support and participate in development of architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools
Support and participate to design and setup the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
Setup Compute, Database, Block Volumes, Storage, Network within OCI
Write Terraforms scripts to provision and manage OCI artifacts
Set up process, services and tools around cloud
Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls
Monitor OCI environment and providing regular reporting
Issue management and resolution

About you

- Strong network engineering background
- Any cloud engineering experience will be considered
- Ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to motivate and lead an offshore support team
