About your new employer

Our client is a private, peak industry body that is a major provider of public transport for NSW. A large number of members transport approximately 650,000 school children to and from school each day along with various passenger journeys around the NSW Region. There has been a concerted and concentrated effort to formulate a policy and build a number of relationships to increase public transport usage to deliver a sustainable transport system to the public.

About your new role
As the Communications Coordinator, your role will include but won’t be limited to the following –
Creation of various communications including agendas, meeting papers, minutes
Working closely with the Management on the preparation of both internal and external presentations along with fact sheets, media releases, etc
Website content management and suggesting improvements
Managing Google analytics and reporting accordingly
Coordination of the monthly company magazine
Social media content management, ensuring a strong presence on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

About you
To be successful in this great role, you will have the following –
Minimum tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
Experience in researching information and writing clearly and concisely and relevant for specific and mass audience groups
Proven experience in social media strategy and digital analytics
Excellent stakeholder management and teamwork skills and experience
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Ability and willingness to learn internal systems including CRM, website CMS and media monitoring platform
