Your new employer is a recognised specialist providing high-quality products to many customers all over Australia. This is a great opportunity to join and lead the finance function of an organisation that is passionate about its industry. They are a key wholesaler and supplier in their niche and have built a well-respected brand within the industry.

About your new role…
Reporting and providing sound financial advice to the Managing Director. This newly created role will see you join a stable finance team with a supportive and social culture.

Some of the key tasks include:
Prepare Monthly and Annual financial statements for the management team
Manage the full P&L, cashflow statements, balance sheet recs, GL recs
Processing of payroll and manage HR related duties (leave requests statutory requirements and workers comp)
Lead the budgeting process
Prepare statutory reports and liaise with the external accountant as required.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
Provide key analysis in sales and inventory.
Oversee and lead a small transactional team (AP & AR)
About you...
CPA or CA qualified (preferable)
Have at least 5 years experience in a similar broad role handling all finance requirements for the business
Have experience with Pronto
Interpersonally, you are a proactive communicator and can work autonomously and in a team environment.
Proactively seek ways to add value in all areas of your role.
