About Your New Job
This is a hands-on role with a strategic focus. Your responsibilities will include:
•Leading a small team of Credit Officers and providing support on a day-to-day basis.
•Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effectiveness of the credit team
•Credit review and monitoring and managing monthly collection
•Managing any bad debts in line with the company credit policy
•Working closely with Sales department to ensure appropriate credit limits are set
•Ensuring credit claims are investigated and resolved in accordance with company guidelines
•Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
•Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the team, fostering their professional growth and development.
•Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and managing key accounts
•Creating and maintaining efficient policies and procedures.
•Ensuring smooth implementation of process changes with minimal disruption to customers.
•Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and policies
About You:
To be considered for this role you will ideally have the following:
•A background in leadership roles within Credit / Accounts Receivable
•Strong knowledge of Credit Insurance requirements and obligations
•A proven record of identifying process improvements and effectively executing change.
•Strong leadership and people management abilities to inspire and guide your team.
•Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
•Proficiency in analytics and problem-solving to drive data-informed decisions.
•The ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•A collaborative approach to working across departments to achieve common goals.
•Proficiency in large ERP systems as well as Microsoft packages
•Tertiary qualifications would be ideal however not essential
