My client offers large scale electrical contracting services geared to support the delivery of major infrastructure in some of Australia’s fastest growing communities.

Your new role

An exciting opportunity exist for an experienced Electrical Estimator. This role supports the sales process by working with our customers to determine the needs (holistically) of their projects, identify the best solution and calculate the cost of that solution. The Estimator supports delivery by identifying risk and proposing countermeasures.

•Analyse and understand the scope and requirements of each design / specifications. Prepare the costings and price proposals in accordance with AUS standards.
•Accurately estimate labour times and costs both internally & externally
•Needs experience setting out the job , interpreting costs/equipment and delivery the whole project.
•Prepare reports and attend management reviews of the tender
•Provide detail for the programme timelines and methodology inputs
•Able to see the whole picture and foresee any issues and take actions accordingly

About You!

Personal experience in electrical asset construction working as an accredited service provider (ASP1) is an essential.
•High level of attention to detail and personal ownership
•High proficiency in the use of Microsoft suite of applications in particular Project
•Driver’s licence to allow for travel between locations
•A grade electrical license
•Workable knowledge on materials and components used in a wide range of electrical installations
