My client is a fortune 500 company, based in Germany but have 31,300 sites worldwide they ensure efficient, powerful and safe movement in machines and systems of any size.

Your new role
•Ensure successful execution of concept and detail designs by the design team, producing complete project documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
•Ensure that company operating and cost efficiencies are obtained, quality and safety standards are achieved, and customer delivery deadlines are met.

The role would cover:
•Ensure all HSE procedures are followed and all incidents are reported accordingly
•Schedule/prioritise day to day work for engineering design team. (Resource allocation)
•Steer/guide/oversee design work carried out by engineering design team.
•Ensure engineering schedules are followed by design engineers.
•Prepare and chair engineering toolbox meeting, Ensure project schedules are up to date.
•Support engineering manager and production manager.
•Support engineering team to resolve production issues.
•Support new project review with engineering manager & sales engineers.

What we need from you
•Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics) – Or equivalent
•5 years experience as a team lead in an engineering environment
•IT Knowledge: SAP MM, PP, Microsoft Office
•Autodesk - AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault experience
•PTC - Creo and Windchill experience
•Interact in a friendly and efficient manner with suppliers, customers and staff.
•Be self‐motivated and capable of multitasking.
•Demonstrate effective communication and team skills with a keen eye for detail.
