Your new employer is a global industry leader who is dominating in the Australian market. They are now seeking an exceptional Finance data analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract with possibilities of renewal and/or extension.

About YOUR new job:

You will be responsible for managing data interfaces, report generation, and dashboard development using SQL and Power BI. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and insightful reporting to support operational delivery and contract KPI management.

The key tasks assigned to this position include:
•Manage the interface between data inputs and SQL for report generation.
•Manage Power BI along with developing or updating dashboards as required in Power BI to support better management of operational delivery and contract KPI management.
•Prepare and distribute weekly operational KPI reports that enable the Leadership Team to monitor operational performance against contractual KPI’s
•Analyse operational and KPI performance based on the data and trends and suggest strategies for improved results.
•Support other (relevant) business units to understand the data on the dashboard to ensure KPI management and operational delivery
•Develop and maintain reporting system to meet all contract governance reporting requirements.
•Develop reporting dashboards to support overall business performance
•Create, manage and maintain data files for the purpose of contract reporting, administration and business performance monitoring.

About YOU!
•Proven experience in a data analyst role (or similar) preferably within a finance context.
•Strong proficiency in SQL for data management and report generation.
•Extensive experience with Power BI for dashboard development and maintenance.
•Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly regarded but not essential
•Effective communication skills to liaise with various business units and support their data needs.
•Demonstrated ability to prepare and distribute comprehensive operational KPI reports.
•Excellent analytical skills to interpret data trends and provide actionable insights.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple data sources and reporting requirements.
