Our client is a large department within the Public sector who hold their services to the highest standard.

About YOUR new job:

This is an interim stand alone Finance Manager role to cover a resignation in the team. Your focus will be to collate and review financial reports to the department's service providers.

Some of the key tasks aligned to this role will include:
•Capital Projects: Oversee financial management of large-scale capital projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.
•Cashflow Management: Monitor, forecast, and optimize cash flow, ensuring the financial health of the organization.
•Commercial Accounting: Provide expert financial guidance on commercial accounting matters, including financial reporting, cost analysis, and profitability analysis.
•Government Finance: Manage financial operations related to government funding, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective use of public funds.

About YOU!
•Qualified CA/CPA or similar
•5-7+ years post qualification experience in accounting
•Experience working on Capital projects (preferable but not essential)
•Experience within the Public sector (preferable but not essential)
•Highly organized with a high attention to detail
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Interpersonally, you are inquisitive by nature and show resilience. You have a track record of effectively supporting senior stakeholders and you are an analytical and logical thinker
•You are Immediately available or could start your next role with a short notice period
