Your New Role
Due to a recent internal promotion this influential role has become available to finance professionals who will work closely with the Operational Managers in identifying and driving cost-saving initiatives and seeking to improve operational efficiencies. The role is seeking someone who can provide great financial and business insights at a granular level using skills and tools at their disposal as well as lead and inspire a small team.
The core tasks aligned to this position will include; but are not limited to:
•Assume responsibilities for managing regular financial operations and reporting activities.
•Conduct assessments of operational efficiency and potential cost optimization based on various data sources.
•Handle the creation of budgets, periodic forecasts, and related documents, and provide occasional specialized reports.
•Foster team development and contingency planning.
•Generate and uphold comprehensive reports for business evaluation purposes.
•Engage in miscellaneous additional assignments as they arise.
•Drive cost-saving initiatives by analysing costs of raw materials, labour, assets and finished goods

About you
•You will preferably be a CPA/ CA qualified professional
•Experience in a manufacturing environment
•Experience in team leadership and people management.
•Has strong business partnering and relationship building skills with excellent written and verbal communication
•Experience with an array of ERP system / •Experience with BI tools and dashboard creation (Power BI)
•Expert on MS Excel
•Has an eye for detail and can provide detailed analysis and in depth reporting to accurately capture what is happening on the ground.
•Your strong business partnering skills and your ability to influence will see you succeed in this role.
