The Role
This role will provide you access to high-profile people from both within and external to the accounting functions. The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality corporate reporting and analytics from a group perspective

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of quarterly and annual accounting disclosure schedules
• Responsible for the statutory financial reporting of all overseas
subsidiaries, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and lodged in a
timely manner.
• Coordination of the annual audit timetable, including liaising with Finance
Managers to ensure that information is available to auditors in a timely
manner.
• Provide technical accounting advice as requested by the business, in a
clear and concise manner.
• Update and maintain company accounting policies in line with
global policies and the latest accounting standards
• Provide training to all business on the impact of new accounting changes,
as relevant.
• Identify and implement process improvement for the statutory reporting
process.

The Successful Applicant
•Will hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA / CA or similar)
•Experience working in a leading chartered firm making their first move into commerce OR have performed a similar Group Finance role working for another fast-paced large company (listed or multinational)
•You will be an energetic and natural communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with business leaders and with those who have a non-financial background;
•Engage with others collaboratively, and work to a high standard with accuracy and deliver on time;
•Enjoy working as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple stakeholders.
