About your new role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organisations general ledgers and associated reconciliations and for maintaining high quality internal and external financial reporting for the group.

Some of the key tasks associated with this role include:
Lead the month end process for the team
Lead and mentor a small team
Group consolidation and reporting
Prepare statutory/external accounts
Manage the Treasury function and Chart of Accounts
Working capital management
Management of group trial balances
Oversee and lead team in Balance sheet reconciliation, P&L reporting, cashflow reporting
Assist in annual budget and forecasting process

About You

The successful candidate for this role will be some one who looks beyond the reported numbers, have a curious mindset to analyse the data produced. This role will have a high level of exposure to the Executive Leadership Team, therefore experience managing senior stakeholders is preferred. This role will suit a CA qualified second mover.

You will be CA qualified
You will have 5-7 years experience in a similar technical accounting role.
You will have experience within a fast paced environment.
Can demonstrate sound system skills particularly with MS Excel and has previous exposure to a mid tier ERP systems.
Interpersonally, you communicate in a professional and transparent style and present yourself in a corporate manner. You will see yourself as a true business partner and thrive in a stakeholder driven environment.
