Your New Role:

The IT & Cyber Security Manager position is a highly visible role within the IT & OT structure and will align business requirements with technological capabilities in this new venture. As the IT & Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
•Identify key business requirements and ensure that the recommended architecture is fit for purpose, scalable and able to be maintained.
•Take ownership of IT and operational systems to ensure a secure operating environment.
•Devise the strategy to performance manage all cyber & information security systems.
•Implement cyber security policies and procedures (preventative, mitigative & incident management).
•Management of the Critical Infrastructure Risk Management program.
•Lead internal IT security audits for the business.
•Define a governance framework used to plan, test, release & deliver production changes to the IT / OT environment.
•Oversee compliance requirements to ensure licensing & operating conditions are adhered to.
•Manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders that promotes accountability, transparency and true business partnerships.

About You:
•You hold formal qualifications in IT as well as cyber specific qualifications ie: CISSP, CISM or similar.
•You are a cyber security professional with demonstrated experience performing the above listed tasks, including a track record of successful vendor management in an outsourced IT delivery environment.
•In addition to your cyber security expertise, you will have a sound understanding of IT operations and have a ‘hands on’ approach to your work.
•You come from a regulated industry such as critical infrastructure, energy or similar, and have a working knowledge of the SOCI act.
•Interpersonally, you are a team player and an open and approachable communicator with peers at all levels which also translates across to your leadership style.
