Your New Role

As the 2IC to the CIO, the IT Infrastructure & Ops Manager will provide technical expertise and leadership effective management of the IT infrastructure footprint for all sites across Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on maintaining efficient service to a user community of 500 seats.

In addition to this, you will participate in an IT uplift program that will deliver new technologies that have the capacity to streamline, automate and redefine how this business engages with the customer.

Some of the other key tasks aligned to this role will include:
•Mentor & Develop an IT team of eight, consisting of Service Desk, IT engineering and IT admin.
•Strategic planning for all communication, data management, networking and infrastructure for the Australian business including security.
•Provide technical expertise and operational guidance for complex issues and projects.
•Change management support during the delivery of IT transformation initiatives.
•Build strong working relationships with business leaders internally as well as external vendors and third-party suppliers.

About YOU! - (The Successful Applicant/Candidate)
•Will hold formal IT qualification and ITIL certification.
•You are a proven leader and have led teams to support user communities in the vicinity of 500 users.
•You come from a technical IT background, where you have moved into a leadership position whilst overseeing the IT environment.
•You will come from an industry that supports a business with operations, ideally across multi site of net where there are multiple sites and a strong reliance on IT supporting business operations.
•Like to work in a ‘hands on’ style, but conversely are able to strategically manage resources to be successful in your role.
•Interpersonally, you are a ‘techie’ at heart and have since developed strong leadership skills. You are on the upward curve of your career and are looking for an opportunity for a future path to higher levels of management.
