West Recruitment are partnering with a top tier Managed Service Provider based in Sydney CBD who are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 IT Support Engineer.

About your new Employer

West Technology is partnering with a leading managed IT Service Provider based in the CBD who help their clients navigate IT and provide innovative and comprehensive IT solutions. This mid-sized MSP are experiencing substantial growth due to their excellent IT offering and superb reputation across the Sydney IT market.

About your new Role

Due to continual company growth a level 2 / level 3 support engineer is required to join this excellent team and culture. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and high calibre technology experience across a range of clients.

Key Tasks:
•Provide Helpdesk support to the end user community for IT issues based onsite in the CBD
•Maintain a strong understanding of IT systems
•Provide advanced support for Microsoft windows and Microsoft cloud – Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune environments
•Maintain support for cyber technologies such as EDR/MDR/XDR
•Troubleshooting, implementing and maintaining all IT solutions across multiple clients
•Technical escalations to provide assistance with technical resolution requiring strong problem solving skills
•Project services – efficient and effective implementation of both internal and client solutions, on time and in budget
•Tech stack maintenance – maintain optimal performance and high availability for integration across systems
•Manage the internal IT environment across the Microsoft tech stack
•Be the product champion for key vendors
•Pre-sales support with vendors for design and implementation, including Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations and server and network infrastructure implementations

About You

•Previous Helpdesk and MSP – Managed Service Provider – experience is essential.
•Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science degree
•Strong understanding of managed services and ICT infrastructure
strong technical knowledge of Microsoft environments – Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
Microsoft Azure certifications advantageous
•Interpersonally, you are a self-starter who enjoys working as part of a strong social culture and team oriented office.
