West Technology has partnered with a market leader in distribution to help them find an IT Support Level 2 Officer to join the team and hit the ground running.

About the opportunity!
An opportunity has opened up for an IT Support Level 2 officer to join the team. This person will be the first point of contact and provide second-level IT support to both on-site and remote employees. They will be involved in the maintenance of key technology systems and IT assets as well as provide a support role in strategic IT Projects.

Some of the key tasks will include;
Investigate and resolve issues and escalate any issues as appropriate;
Install, upgrade, deploy and maintain mobile, desktop, and network infrastructure;
Support the rollout and adoption of new systems and process improvement initiatives;
Identify and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, Wi-Fi, VoIP, and video communication issues;
About you!
2 + years working in a help-desk environment;
2 years’ experience with administration and support of the Microsoft 365 suite of products;
Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system desirable;
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills;
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks based on multiple factors that determine business impact;
Ability to liaise with and support users of varying levels of technical literacy;
Interpersonal skills to build collaborative working relationships and a positive team environment.
