The Opportunity (YOUR new job)

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the System Administrator will join the team to ensure the ongoing stability for the network and all associated hardware and software and communications infrastructure for this 1000 seat business.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
•Contribute to Network design and capacity planning.
•Administration of End user accounts, permissions & accessibility.
•Manage network hardware including routers, switches, hubs & UPS’s.
•Ownership of Data centres, servers (Physical, virtual & cloud)
•Maintain Windows Servers including associated operating systems
•Monitor security solutions including firewalls, anti-virus & intrusion detection systems.
•Perform system backups and recovery.
•Oversee the deployment new equipment including scheduled hardware upgrades
•Build and manage relationships with external vendors and third party suppliers.

About YOU!
•Will hold formal an IT qualification such as a degree or relevant certification.
•Has experience performing the above listed tasks.
•Is skilled with Microsoft products, including O365 & Windows Servers as well as Citrix & VMware products
•Can come from a background within Helpdesk or IT support, System / Network support or an MSP and are ready for career progression
•Interpersonally, you are a proactive communicator who enjoys working as part of a team. You are self motivated and thrive in a fast paced and exciting work environment.
