Your next career step

A brand new role has been created to support the roll out of JD Edwards modules amongst other business critical systems.
You will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of modules and be the Functional specialist for JDE.
Working closely with business managers and users to better understand the requirements of the business, you will ensure that all systems are running optimally.

Your responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise for Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) Sales Order management, Purchase Order management, Inventory, Transportation, and other modules to the retail project team.
• Serve as the subject matter expert by understanding current system functionality and configuration while working to drive standardization and improvement.
• Work closely with the retail project implementation team and the business to understand the business requirements and ensuring they are being clearly articulated to the point-of-sale & eCommerce implementation vendors to assist them in their design, development, and testing.
• Work with IT, business leaders, and end users to implement projects from concept through implementation, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
• Influences and contributes to process and organizational continuous improvements.
• Test and debug new enhancements and report modifications to ensure compliance with specifications and the generation of accurate information.
• Provide end user support on how to optimize the utilization of existing tools and systems.
• Plan, test, document and implement changes required by the business to enhance functionality of the system while minimizing the need for system customization and taking advantage of the system’s standard configurations.

About you

• Strong experience in Oracle JD Edwards in functional domains for end-to-end implementation projects and must have worked on Sales Order, Purchase Orders, Inventory & Transportation implementations.
• Strong experience in business analysis including modelling techniques to document AS-IS, TO-BE states, gap analysis, document requirements in organisation-defined standards.
• Experience with eCommerce and POS solutions in retail industry space will be preferred.
• Experience as a functional/business analyst in JDE integration projects including EDI;
• 6-8 years’ experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as a functional expert with implementation and support experience.
• Ability to work both independently and in conjunction with others in collaborative teams
• Experience with barcodes and barcode scanning technologies (desired but not essential)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology field (desired but not essential)
• Exposure to other major business applications e.g Salesforce.com (desired but not essential)
• Current rights to work in Australia.
