About your new job

As the Junior Foreign Exchange Administrator you will assist in the maintenance of the financial documents and processes surrounding the purchasing and payment of goods and services purchased from overseas locations.

Primary duties include:
•Liaising with Profit Centres (which create international purchase orders) to provide information regarding exchange rates, methods of payment, FX hedging requirements
•Assist in the creation and changes to FX hedges
•Create and maintain letter of credits
•Assist in the recording of international transactions from purchasing to payment and the posting of these various transactions in the Finance transaction systems
•Accurately record the payments of transactions in company Financial Systems
•Liaise with Profit centres to record the AUD value of international transactions in the company financial systems

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally have exposure in the following:
•Accounts Payable and FX experience preferred
•Attention to detail and quality assurance by building error-checking into own workflow
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
•Ability to work to a strict schedule and be results-focused
•Strong communication skills as well as attention to detail
•Proactive and forward-thinking
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
•Accounting degree qualified (or near completion) would also be an advantage.
