The Opportunity

Reporting to the Australian Head of IT, the Network Administrator will play a crucial role in the administration, configuration and maintenance of the network (both cloud and on-prem), is reliable and efficient. This business is a Microsoft house, where all of the modern MS technologies are utilised (D365, O365, Windows, Azure etc).

Some of the key tasks aligned to this role include:
•Provide End-User support for complex issues with hardware and software and peripheral technologies.
•Management of networks / infrastructure including Switches, Routing & Firewalls.
•Administration of network security including virus protection, data loss protection (DLP), email & web filters and gateways.
•Maintain and support Windows Servers as well as Azure Cloud services and Azure Active Directory
•Perform software, firmware and hardware updates periodically.
•Maintain the IT Asset register
•Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as implementations & upgrades, including rolling out digital and Operational Technologies.

The Successful Applicant
•Will hold an tertiary qualification in IT or Computing
•Brings expertise with Windows servers as well as Azure cloud and associated products.
•Has broad skills and is able to operate at a Level 3 technical support for all hardware, networking and software issues.
•Is proven at supporting a user community of >1000 people across multiple sites.
•Comes from a Microsoft heavy tech stack in your prior roles.
•Interpersonally, you are a team player with a positive demenour & enthusiastic attitude to your craft. You are an open and honest communicator with the ability to work with others as well as autonomously.
