An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Night Shift Production Supervisor. This role is working within a 24 hour operation and requires an mechanically minded individual.

Your new role

•Supervise production operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
•Manage the business in a safe manner and ensure all personnel adhere to the company WHS policies.
•Work in conjunction with training personnel and provide a training plan to the business that helps support growth in both talent & skills.
•Conduct employee reviews, eg performance quality, attendance, attitude, general skills, safety in accordance with company requirements and as they arise.
•Coordinating the shift schedules including -: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime, and back-up for absent employees.
•Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
•Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing that are managed within the operational budget levels.
•Schedule and conduct shift toolbox meetings.
•Responsible to meet shift production goals.

About You!

•Ability to solve complex and critical problems in Operations
•Strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability to learn a fast-paced injection moulding plastics manufacturing process
•Good Knowledge in Manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.
•A minimum of 3 -5 years People Management and supervisory experience
•Strong leadership capabilities
•High degree and attention to detail
•Intermediate level MS Office
