Our Client is a well known national business with a portfolio of brands that can be found in most Australian households. You will be working in a high performing team within a large operation who boast a global footprint. This is an exciting opportunity to genuinely make a difference and business partner with multiple business groups. The Operations Analyst will start out on an initial 6-month contract with the intention to make them permanent.

Your new role....

Reporting to the Financial controller - Operations, the core overview of this position is to prepare, analyse and distribute operations data and reports to the management team. This role will have the opportunity to work with all different business groups within the operation nationally.

The tasks assigned to this position include but not limited to:
•Provide accurate and on time reports on operations performance, preparing and distributing the operations dashboards on daily, weekly and monthly basis
•Tracking financial performance vs forecast and budget with relevant commentary for main deviations
•Provide on-going business partnering and financial support to operations team, specifically related to labour efficiency, yield and production costs performance
•Work with IT specialists to automate the operations dashboards / reports
•Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

About You!
•Will hold a widely recognised Professional Accounting qualification such as (CPA/CA)
•You will have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in the migration of reporting into business intelligence platforms
•Exceptional Excel skills and strong ability to do data modelling and/or financial modelling
•Manufacturing industry experience or working within an operational environment is desirable
•Strong Communicator with excellent listening and interaction skills
•Positive and pro-active demeanour with a willingness to work well in a team environment
•Attention to detail and accuracy
•Ability to work well under mutiply deadlines and pressure
