About your new job

Working in a busy environment with a supportive team, the role would suit a highly experienced Payroll Officer who can work in end to end a capacity.
•Managing weekly payrolls for approximately 1000 employees
•Handling and resolving payroll queries and managing the query inbox
•Processing payroll adjustments – ad-hoc manual payments
•Setting up new starters
•Process termination payments
•Reconcile workers compensation
•Updating employee details and changes
•Month-end reporting and reconciliations
•Assist the Payroll manager with ongoing projects concerning system/process/ procedure improvement as required.

About You

To be successful in this position you will ideally have exposure in the following:
•A proven track record in the area of payroll management – ideally within a full function/end-to-end
•Knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law and interpreting Awards & EBAs
•Previous experience in high-volume payroll processing
•Exposure to large payroll systems
•Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with relevant departments
•Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
