Plant Supervisor - Afternoon Shift Jobs

Permanent Afternoon, Monday to Friday role
$90,000 + Super + great career progression
Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 11pm, Friday 12pm - 6pm

About your new Company:
West Recruitment is excited to be partnering with the world’s largest installer of underground standing support and ventilation control devices, pumped from the surface of mines and tunnels. Established in the Australian market 10 years ago, for the purpose of developing, supplying, and installing standing support, ventilation control devices, specialty cement, and injection chemicals in the Australian underground black coal mining, hard rock mining, and civil tunnelling industries.

About your new role:
As the Afternoon Plant Supervisor you will report to Plant Manager and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following –
•Supervising afternoon shift Plant staff
•Ensure that the Plant Production schedule is correct and operating effectively
•Strong commitment to safety
•Monitor production output, product quality and on-time delivery
•Ensure that the Production staff are adequately trained to safety carry out the duties assigned to them
•Completing a variety of regular reporting including Production data, equipment outages, NCR and OH&S responses and Training analysis

About you:
•You are very hands on in your approach to leadership
•Solid ERP skills
•Intermediate Excel skills
•Previous Supervisory experience within Manufacturing, Steel or •Building materials highly regarded
•Unwavering commitment to safety
•Commitment to Afternoon shift and the flexibility to cover Day if it is required
