We are excited to be partnering with a progressive global FMCG business that continues to grow and outperform market expectations based in Western Sydney.

THE ROLE:
The Pricing Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in the organisation, building effective pricing models using market data, to communicate to key stakeholders within the business. You will have the ability to influence and proactively drive pricing strategy to impact consumer behavior and respond to real-time competitive pressures.

Duties include
Conducting cost versus benefit analysis to support existing pricing and inventory programs
Drive insights-driven pricing strategies
Developing merchandise pricing and inventory strategy
Initiating and managing pricing projects on inventory and ensuring smooth implementation
Drive key performance indicator reporting, benchmarking and analysis
Collecting, analysing and presenting pricing data with recommendations for key stakeholders
Conduct strategic reviews and “deep dive” analyses
Ensuring reporting compliance with all relevant regulatory standards
Risk analysis and recommendations to drive strategic growth
Managing various inventory categories to allow revenue optimization
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

To be considered for this position you will have demonstrable pricing experience preferably in a fast-paced FMCG or Retail environment. This role requires Advanced Excel ability, with the ability to build complex models on inventory and pricing.
Tertiary degree qualification in Accounting or Business
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Macros, VBA's etc).
Business partnering skills and the ability to clearly communicate with multiple key stakeholders
Strong statistics modeling, pricing analysis & optimization
