About the Role
We are currently seeking a procurement leader that manages commercial relationships with the business and suppliers through proactive engagement to ensure sustainable outcomes for the organisation. The role will provide thought leadership as a subject matter expert across the business to enable the delivery of the businesses strategic plans, specifically around supply chain.
Key focuses include:

•Manage and develop a team of four
•Develop, drive and measure the businesses initiatives and objectives
•Provide operational direction on activities across supplier lifecycle sourcing and contract management
•Deliver value through collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
•Mange the effective operational delivery of category management, demand management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract management and purchasing
•Lead the complex supplier negotiations that maximises not only commercial value but mitigates supply risk specific to each contract within the Portfolio.
•Continually challenge internal systems & processes and partner with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement ensuring delivery of business needs.
•Provide guidance, coaching and support to business users for tactical and transactional procurement activities.

The Successful Candidate
This role will appeal to an experienced Procurement professional that partnering with stakeholders in developing and executing strategy. Experience working in infrastructure, construction, utilities or the like would be advantageous.
