OUR CLIENT:

West Recruitment is working closely with a well-known Australian brand in their search for an experienced Retail Operations and Strategy Analyst. This business has gone through huge growth recently and this is a newly created role in the team.

THE ROLE:

Your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic and economic assessment on potential opportunities / risk and development of solutions to be implemented. You will act as a key liaison across all related operational, logistics and development functions.

Strategy Development
Support the long term development of an efficient, robust and competitive network by leveraging experience and industry knowledge to run a number of To-Be scenarios options and evaluate the impact in terms of capacity, cost and service
Engagement with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the required information and stakeholder expectations are captured accordingly
Development of terms of reference, activity plan and concept evaluation storyboards for the required pieces of work
Network Insights Development
Development of documentation that supports the overall network strategy such as the exit and timing of facilities, extensions to existing facilities and changes to either throughput or capabilities across the network
Data analysis and ad hoc reports that provide operations support and strategy decisions across the organization
Network Content and Team Development
Support the development of a strategic capacity insights tool to provide timely, accurate and up to date capacity information across all facilities
Embed the capacity insights tool within the business having outlined a clear process for maintaining the tool as well as providing capacity insights to be used to inform the overall network strategy
Engaging with the relevant stakeholders to collect the required information and ensure the tool is up to date and providing value
Network Innovation
Where applicable, this role is responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions that provide a competitive advantage for our client
