Your new job

Reporting to the Director of Delivery, the Senior Back End Developer will join an established team of competent and diversely talented engineers ensuring the ongoing development of the distinct large-scale applications which all need attention. This is an opportunity for an engineer to make their mark and build on the existing technical capability bringing in a diverse knowledge stack.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
•Great communication and ability to express and coordinate necessary improvements
•Project management and planning to deliver on-time and effective solutions
•Familiar with clear and comprehensive code management and ongoing documentation
•Most of all, be able to think on your feet and be naturally curious. A problem solver at heart.

About YOU!
•Senior Engineering background with several years of experience delivering and working with legacy/Monolithic architecture (Preferably in a financial services environment or Gaming environment)
•Ability to code in multiple languages proficiently such as C++, C#, VB6 and. Net
•Database management and strong proficiency with SQL and Azure databases
•CI/CD technologies and containerization knowledge utilizing the likes of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Octopus Deploy.
•Architectural understanding of SOA and •Microservices will be a huge benefit.
•API management and testing within both automated and manual testing environments.
