About your new company
Our amazing Government client was newly established in their cluster in 2020, with the focus being transforming the Government approach to disaster management in NSW. Our client leads and coordinates disaster prevention, management, and recovery – through learning from experience to drive strategies and investment to reduce risk, build the resilience of NSW communities and give confidence to the communities to live, work and invest in NSW.

About your new role
The primary focus of the role is to develop, coordinate and distribute communication and engagement content across a variety of formats and channels – both externally and internally.

Duties will include but won’t be limited to the following –
•Design and implementation of communications in support of strategic, operational and corporate priorities
•Manage the communication initiatives in a project management style
•Build and maintain both internal and external stakeholder relationships
•Complete analysis and reviews of communication strategies and evaluate the outcomes
•Preparation of various correspondence such as briefs, publications and written reports

About you
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following –
•Ability to travel within NSW and provide support to other operational roles during disasters
•Proven project management experience with communications content delivery for both internal and external parties
•Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations or journalism or proven experience in equivalent experience
•Able to commit to the duration of the assignment
