Your new role....

As the Senior Analyst, Risk & Controls you will report to the Risk Manager and manage key relationships across the business. This will be a Line 1 role and will commence as an initial 1-year Fixed Term Contract with scope for permanency.
  
The core tasks aligned to this role will include:
Engage in significant projects to identify, document and assess risks associated with the business
Assess operational and financial controls through performing control tests.
Deliver on effective project risk management practices and influence decision making
Devise internal controls required to improve direction and overall operational efficiency
Ensure business practices assimilate with risk framework as per group strategy
Revise and run efficient processes and systems that support the business’ strategic framework
Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with implementing transformation initiatives
Identify gaps/deficiencies in the control framework
Partner with the business to provide financial advice, analysis and recommendations for further improvement
About You!
Will hold a professional qualification (CA / CPA or similar)
Has extensive experience performing the listed tasks in a large corporate business or within the Big 4
Experience within ASX listed or internationally listed environments is highly desirable
Possesses commercial acumen and an understanding of key business drivers
