Your new employer is a part of a global business servicing a broad range of industries that require compressed air, pressure, and vacuum systems. This role falls into the part of the business that provides after-market service to its clients. Here in Australia, they employ 120 people across almost 20 branches nationally.

About your new role:
As the Service Supervisor, you will be key to the everyday operational success of the business. Reporting to the NSW Service Manager, you will also contribute to the success of the business by providing excellent customer satisfaction to our wide variety of customers and leading a team of 8 Service Technicians.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Daily management of Service Technicians and allocation of work
Sign off of Service Technician timesheets
Preparation and follow up of quotes
Monitoring and producing reports to support the service division
Adhoc service inquiry support and dispute resolution
Provide technical support to technicians
Responsible for regional stocktakes
Plan, schedule, and coordinate staff training
Allocation and control of jobs to workshop
The role will suit a person with a strong technical background and staff leadership experience who is happy to lead by example and provide technical support.

About you?
Technical or trade background (mechanical or compressors)
Proven technical team management experience
Well organised and able to multi-task
Proficient in Microsoft Office and online management tools such as SAP
Excellent interpersonal and people skills with clear and confident telephone manner
Proven success in a customer service role
Valid Driver Licence
You are fully vaccinated
