The Opportunity
•Support the Procurement function to deliver business-wide benefits
•Manage and lead a team
•Partner with Stakeholders by fostering a ‘trusted advisor' relationship by providing value-added insights and strategic market analysis along with the on-time delivery of their objectives
•Understand the Business needs and act as a catalyst in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering their Strategies
•Manage the efficient and effective operational delivery of category management, demand management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract management
•Challenge internal systems and processes to ensure delivery of Business needs in a timely manner while continuing to deliver Value and appropriately mitigate the Organisation's Risk profile
•Partner with the Business on Strategic Contracts with Performance management as well as provide regular insights on alternate Supply Market opportunities that have the ability to deliver better ways of doing things
•Provide strategic & operational direction and training to key stakeholders, bother internal and external
•Operate a working environment that empowers employees to take ownership of their work, encourages innovative thinking, teamwork, and a flexible and enthusiastic work culture

The Successful Applicant

Will have a proven track record of being able to align multiple parties and have the ability to find solutions to problems using your creativity, reasoning, and past experiences. A background working within a large infrastructure environment procuring in ITC would be particularly advantageous as would someone with relevant qualifications.
