About your new company:
Established over 15 years ago, this organisation has grown to be one of Australia’s largest land transport operators. Operating across six States and Territories and employing over 3500 staff to provide a large number of customer connections each year.

About your new role:
Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, some of the responsibilities will include –
•Drafting content for the annual business plans relating to the sustainable procurement
•Ongoing management of the supply contracts for NSW
•Ensuring that all reporting obligations are carried out in a timely manner
•Supporting the National Manager to ensure that all procurement activity is in line with the business procurement policies
•Supporting and assisting with sustainable procurement practices to ensure compliance with relevant contracts, legislation, and accreditations, including ISO20400:2017
•Ensuring compliance with Group Financial Policy & Procedures and Financial Authority •Limits and keep up to date with best-in-class industry procurement practices

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have the following –
•You will have proven experience in Procurement
•Experience ideally within the Transport or Logistics Industry
•Knowledge of or experience with ISO20400:2017 is highly desirable
•Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Contract Law or Business
•Previous experience in sustainable procurement activity, ideally within the heavy vehicle or transport industry
•Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
