Your New Job:

Reporting Directly to the Technology Director who is based in the US, you will be leading and growing a very diverse and collaborative team. You will be engaging with multiple verticals of the organisation to support the Engineering team. You will be a hands-on technical leader focusing on people, systems, and delivery. As a seasoned expert, you will champion and juggle various business priorities and provide thought leadership driving the best technical, scalable, and secure solutions.
•Ensure a solid understanding of their customers'/clients' expectations and pursue them until delivered
•Develops, documents, and executes client-specific engagement strategies
managing acceptable levels of customer service in all aspects of delivery
•Tracks project budgetary performance, ensuring adherence to commercial agreements, and manages/reports on exceptions.
•Led the coaching/mentoring opportunities for the team to upskill careers
•Promoting bespoke company culture, problem-solving, and coaching to maintain optimum employee engagement.
•Ensures clarity around priorities, initiatives, and goals within each team
•Collaborate in cross-functional teams and departments efficiently

Your Experience:
•Several years of experience as a manager in the Technical Engineering space, preferably managing technical professionals/engineers (Gaming industry preferred but not essential)
•Ability to code in languages proficiently such as C++.
•Database management and strong proficiency with SQL and Azure databases
•CI/CD technologies and containerization knowledge utilizing the likes of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Octopus Deploy.
•Architectural understanding of SOA and Microservices will be a huge benefit.
•API management and testing within both automated and manual testing environments. (Selenium desired)
