Your new role
As the Shift Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the Charter Division of the business. You will be responsible for managing a team of 2 and for the smooth delivery of a number of contracts to government and private clients. The Shift Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling Charter and Commercial operations at the St Marys Depot.

You will be an integral part of the broader team and will cover a range of duties including:
•Provide overall accountability for ensuring drivers are efficiently allocated to cover all Charter services
•Be an agent for continuous improvement
•The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that manpower and buses are allocated to deliver services as required
•Undertake toolbox meetings at off-site locations
•Be an active participant in the WH&S and Consultative committees
•Monitor all Charter Services using Telematics
•Responsible for providing clear and concise communication with drivers
•Sign off and approve overtime requirements

What you will bring to the role
•Previous experience in similar role managing multiple contracts
•Previous experience in transport-related role highly desired
•Friendly team orientated attitude

•Able to operate under pressure and stay consistent
